The Neighborhood
The Merry Hills Homeowners Association (MHHA) neighborhood has a varied
demographic composition, including long-time residents—some of whom were
the original homeowners in our subdivisions and are now in their 80’s and
90’s, young singles, and families. The neighborhood is enhanced by a
location that is:
- close to the city of Atlanta
- near to interstate highways
- within 3 miles of the Clifton Corridor, an area that includes major
employers such as Emory University, Emory University Hospital, Childrens
Healthcare of Atlanta, and Centers for Disease Control (CDC).
Public schools for the neighborhood are Briar Vista Elementary, Shannon
Middle School, and Druid Hills High School. Private schools nearby include
the Presbyterian Intown Community School, Torah Day School of Atlanta,
Temima High School for Girls, and Yeshiva Ohr Yisrael for boys.
