February 4: Groundbreaking ceremony for the Toco Hill-Avis G. Williams
Library Project at 10:00 a.m.
DeKalb County Public Library invites the public to attend a
groundbreaking ceremony for the Toco Hill-Avis G. Williams Library Project
on Monday, February 4 at 10:00 a.m. The event will be held at 1282 McConnell
Drive, Decatur, Georgia. Construction is scheduled to be completed by the
end of 2008, with the new building opening in January 2009.

January 29: MHHA Meeting and Election of Officers, Torah Day School on LaVista Road
at 7:00 p.m.
MHHA will be meeting Tuesday, Jan. 29, 7:00 p.m. at Torah Day School on LaVista
Road. Our agenda includes election of MHHA executive board members. At our November meeting,
members voted to postpone election of new board members to allow those who
are newly eligible for membership to serve as an officer or director (See "Map
of Merry Hills Homeowners Assn."). DeKalb Commissioner Jeff Rader
and DeKalb Center Precinct police officers
been invited to speak at our meeting and neighborhood concerns will be
discussed and opinions shared.
